Now most traditional soles are cushioned with EVA foam; Rubber foam; PU foam.

During the production process of EVA PU, harmful residues are generated to the human body. In addition, EVA and rubber foam materials also have problems with poor elasticity and significant permanent deformation. There are harmful isocyanate residues in the foaming process of PU foam materials, and due to the cross-linking of molecular chain structure, the foam materials cannot be recycled.

   

The scientific name of popcorn new material is E-TPU (English name: Expanded thermoplastic polyurethane), which is a new type of polymer material composed of countless elastic and lightweight TPU foam balls gathered together. Each microsphere is like a small soccer ball, containing sealed microbubbles.

 

Compared with traditional materials, ETPU has the characteristics of being colorless, odorless, biodegradable, more environmentally friendly, heat-resistant, wear-resistant, tear resistant, anti-skid, shock-absorbing, high resilience, antibacterial, and breathable.
